Rows of seated devotees fill the room, mostly women in colourful saris (teal, purple, orange, pink) and men in white shirts and white garments, many with hair tied back and flowers in braids. A stage at the far end has a large ornate golden deity murti or decorated shrine backdrop with red curtains and a flat screen. Several people stand near the stage. The crowd is dense, so exact counts are unclear, but well over twenty people are visible.2013-01-06
