An elderly priest with a white head cloth, bare chest, rudraksha beads and a green-and-red dhoti sits at left, holding a ladle over a brass bowl. Behind, a golden palanquin-style canopy shelters a deity murti garlanded with white and red flowers. Brass lamps stand nearby, with trays of fruit, flowers and betel leaves. A fire burns in a clay fire pit in the foreground, with a priest in white dhoti and shawl and a rudraksha mala seated beside it, stirring an offering with a long ladle from a metal bowl. Behind the fire stands a golden palanquin-style altar holding a deity murti garlanded with red and white flowers, flanked by tall brass oil lamps. Green banana leaves with offerings and flower-decorated trays are arranged on the floor. A man in white dhoti sits at the back right beside a drum, and another priest in white stands at the left edge.
