Two shaved-headed priests in saffron-orange robes with maroon borders stand at the lingam: the left one wears glasses and a gold chain, while the right one leans in pouring liquid over the lingam. Behind them is a golden deity murti adorned with a multi-strand bead necklace, framed by a gold arch and colourful painted pillars decorated with flowers and elephants. A woman in a white sari with gold border kneels at lower right, holding a small plate with white offerings. A small gold kalasha sits at the front left corner.February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 13 20182018-02-13Photograph of a ritual abhishekam to a black Shiva lingam. Behind her a man with a shaved head wears a red-brown cloth and a rudraksha mala and holds a second silver pot. To the right a tall pillar of red, yellow and pink flower garlands rises beside a red and gold cloth. The setting is dark with warm lamplight.2015-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesPhoto 11728348 +1 copies
