Photograph of a ritual abhishekam to a black Shiva lingam. A woman in a rust-red and gold-striped sari with a rudraksha mala and a flower headband pours water from a silver vessel over the lingam, which sends a bright splash of water. Behind her a man with a shaved head wears a red-brown cloth and a rudraksha mala and holds a second silver pot. To the right a tall pillar of red, yellow and pink flower garlands rises beside a red and gold cloth. The setting is dark with warm lamplight.
