White jasmine garlands, yellow marigolds and red roses decorate its neck and base. It sits on a brass plate filled with white rice grains, on a white cloth. Partially visible at the top edge, a hand and white and gold fabric suggest a ritual setting, but no people are clearly visible.2010-01-19October 26 20162016-10-26A close photo of a ritual table draped in white plastic. A woven basket-like vessel holds a brass kalasha with green leaves, white jasmine garlands and yellow and pink flowers. A brass bowl of white rice or grains sits beside small containers of yellow turmeric and red kumkum. Two people stand behind the table in white dhotis with gold-bordered maroon and gold edges; one wears a white shirt. A red and white banner with Tamil script is partly visible at the right edge. The setting is outdoors at night.2010-01-19November 27 20122012-11-27Photo 11737205October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesPhoto 11738479December 20 20132013-12-20
