A woman in a white sari with a gold border pours water from a metal vessel over a clear crystal linga set on a dark stone lotus-shaped yoni base at the front of a shrine. Behind the linga, two gold-faced deity murtis sit on a throne, one with a red turban and a rudraksha-style necklace, the other in a red and gold garment with a tall black headdress; both are dressed in red and pink silks, draped with multicoloured flower garlands, and framed by a gilded arch with a teal curtain. A small seated orange-robed figure stands at the right foreground beside the base, with its hands joined in prayer, and offerings of flowers lie on the step below. This is an abhishekam being performed at a shrine.2011-07-15June 13 20132013-06-13Three women in white and cream saris stand at a stone shrine decorated with garlands and flowers, performing a ritual before a pair of deity murtis. Behind him stands a pair of metal murti deities seated on a throne: the figure on the left wears an orange turban, rudraksha-style necklaces and a crown, while the figure on the right wears a red sari-like garment and a long braid, both decorated with red and yellow flower garlands. A turquoise curtain and an ornate gold arch frame the shrine, and a small white marble seated statue of a devotee stands at the lower left. Strictly, the priest is a physical person; the deities are statues.2011-09-13A temple shrine with a golden arched frame housing a deity murti pair seated behind a dark shivalinga on a stone yoni-pitha base. The deities wear gold and bead necklaces, red and teal garments, and marigold garlands. In the foreground at left, an older woman in a white sari with gold border holds a white cloth and a rudraksha mala, moving past the shrine.
