A grey-haired man in a white shirt with a rudraksha-style mala bows with palms pressed together and eyes closed, and a younger man in a maroon shirt with a yellow shawl lowers his head beside him. A hand holding a wristwatch is visible at right, and a small pink flower arrangement sits on a wall shelf. The turbaned figure is a person present in person, appearing to bless the devotees during a ritual; the other people are devotees receiving the blessing.2008-07-28September 05 20172017-09-05 +1 copiesA ritual scene in a warmly lit hall. A central figure in a gold crown-like headpiece, layered flower garlands of yellow and red blooms, a gold-bordered white cloth and a jewelled armlet holds a ceremonial gold vessel with a long spout over a tray of petals and fruit. Facing him, a bare-chested devotee in a yellow-and-orange cloth with red and gold head wrap and rudraksha mala bows forward. Gold decorative panels and a gilded image of a deity form stand in the background, and a second attendant in a red turban and dhoti is partially visible at right.2015-07-13October 11 20162016-10-11A photograph of a ritual exchange at a temple event. On the left, a shirtless man with white sacred ash markings on his chest and a magenta-and-gold turban bends forward, holding a woven white basket with a red tassel and green leaves. On the right, a smiling bearded man in a black turban with a red tilak on his forehead wears a maroon-red garment, layered rudraksha malas on his arms and chest, a gold necklace, and a tiger-striped lower cloth. He reaches toward the basket. Behind them are blurred yellow and purple garlands and decorations. The scene suggests an offering during a temple ceremony.2018-01-31February 13 20182018-02-13
