Rows of seated devotees fill the floor, many men and women in white and cream clothing sitting on yellow and striped mats and some on white plastic chairs. A woman in a cream sari and a pink-trimmed outfit stands at left carrying an offering tray, while others sit cross-legged facing forward toward an unseen stage, as at a satsang or Nithyanandam conference session. Many people are visible but no central figure is clearly identifiable in this frame.2009-09-07A large hall packed with seated devotees on pink and purple mats, most wearing white clothes and some in orange or saffron shawls. Rows fill the foreground and middle, with people sitting cross-legged facing a stage at the far end. The stage is draped in red curtains and features a gold-decorated throne with an ornate deity murti and a golden peetha. Ceiling lights and wall posters frame the room, and a large screen shows an image. In the distance on the stage a figure sits in front of the throne, but the appearance is too small and uncertain to determine whether it is the presenter. Many people are visible throughout, with the crowd filling most of the hall, a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam style satsang setting.2016-11-13December 29 20182018-12-29Photo 11716680 +2 copiesA large indoor hall filled with hundreds of seated participants on colourful striped woven mats, most dressed in white with some in orange shawls, saffron and purple clothes. Many people sit cross-legged reading open books or booklets with glossy illustrated pages. A man in the front right wears a white kurta and an orange shawl, and a man in the foreground has a blindfold tied over his eyes. Strings of colourful hanging lanterns and decorations hang from a white tented ceiling, and large screens at the far end show a stage. Cameras on a scaffold rig film the session.2016-12-01Photo 11722914A photograph of a large hall filled with seated devotees on orange and red mats during a satsang. Many men in white dhotis and white shirts sit cross-legged with open books, while others wear white or colourful kurtas and saris. Small brass oil lamps with flames sit on plates in front of several people. Hanging decorations with orange tassels and multicoloured patterned banners line the ceiling. Windows and draped curtains are visible at the back of the hall, and a raised platform with white cloth sits at the far end. The seated crowd fills most of the room.2010-12-26A large indoor hall filled with seated attendees, mostly men in white clothes, sitting cross-legged on mats and cushions on the floor, many holding paper handouts. Some wear yellow or colourful shirts. Hanging from the ceiling are long decorative cylindrical banners in yellow, blue and red patterns, and a yellow cloth canopy overhead. At the far end, a framed painted deity image hangs on the wall beside a wooden lectern area. The attendees appear focused toward the front, consistent with a seated talk or session. Several fans and fluorescent lights hang from the white ceiling.2009-09-27
