In the foreground, a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on an orange mat, hands clasped, flanked by men in white dhotis with red-bordered cloth and rudraksha malas. Brass vessels, small lamps and a blue bowl sit on the glossy floor before them. Behind, a larger crowd of white-clad devotees sits in rows with hands folded or raised in prayer. The scene resembles a satsang or meditation gathering. No candidate is clearly identifiable from appearance here, so the figure in saffron is described only by role.2011-01-29December 25 20182018-12-25A large hall with a white tented ceiling and hanging colourful woven banners. Rows of seated devotees in white dhotis and shirts fill the floor, many wearing rudraksha malas. In the front left, a row of monks in saffron and orange robes and white sits on blue and orange mats, with one monk in a yellow shawl and another in an orange-red shawl. A video camera on a tripod films the gathering. A painted backdrop of a deity with a crown and trident hangs on the left wall, and orange cloth covers the floor at right. The scene is a seated satsang or discourse with a large audience, and a banner on the mat reads Dhyanapeetham.2010-08-08May 06 20182018-05-06April 16 20182018-04-16 +1 copiesA large hall with cream tiled floor where many men and some women sit cross-legged in rows performing a ritual. Most are bare-chested wearing white dhotis with gold-bordered yellow edges and rudraksha malas, with white sandalwood or ash markings on their bodies. Several have hands pressed in prayer, and others handle brass puja plates, flowers and small offering dishes on orange and white cloths. Framed photographs hang on the wall at the back. The scene resembles a group puja or satsang gathering. Several dozen people are visible.2017-07-16
