A priest in the foreground, seen from behind with dark hair and an orange cloth over the shoulder, holds a lit lamp or flame toward the seated figure's face, as in an aarti. The throne is framed by gilded carved pillars and a golden arch.2019-01-04June 09 20172017-06-09A photograph of a ritual at a temple-like hall. A bearded man in a rust-red robe and long white-and-pink flower garland stands at left, holding a silver plate and offering prayers. Behind him, a younger attendant in an orange cloth stands near a gilded ornate throne with red cushioned seat, a tiger-striped cloth draped over its base and carved lion figures. At right, a richly decorated deity murti in red and gold cloth is framed by a tall arch of red, yellow and white marigold garlands. Brass lamps and offerings sit on the floor.2017-06-09
