Thin twine or wire is strung across the pit. Behind it is a dark background with small specks, and at the right edge a striped red, blue and white cloth. No people are visible in the frame.2009-10-15April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesA square black metal fire pit holds a bright burning fire of wood logs with flames rising high. Around the pit lie short strands of thread or cord, a small brass vessel sits at the right edge, and a multicoloured woven mat lies on the ground. At the upper left a figure in white cloth rests against a yellow cushion, partly out of frame. The scene appears to be a homa or yagna fire during ritual. No people are clearly facing the camera and the fire is the main subject.2009-10-15Close photograph of a blazing fire in a dark pit, with tall orange and yellow flames rising from burning wood and embers. Smoke drifts above and a wooden surface edges the frame. No people are visible.2015-11-18July 09 20122012-07-09August 21 20172017-08-21Close photograph of a vigorous fire burning inside a square fire pit or homa kund with stone-coloured walls. Bright yellow and orange flames rise and curl upward from glowing embers at the base, lighting the surrounding dark surfaces in warm amber tones. No people are visible; the frame shows only the fire pit and flames, consistent with a homa or yagna fire.2011-10-01
