Night photograph of a large dark stone Shivalingam with a yoni-peetha base standing on a white and orange striped platform, set in still water that reflects it. Rows of lit oil lamps line tiered steps behind it, with strings of pink, orange and yellow fairy lights along the rail. A metal scaffold staircase leads up beside the lingam. No people are visible; the scene suggests a Karthikai Deepam lamp celebration.
