Behind, a golden bronze deity murti stands with raised arms, flanked by a smaller red-robed figure, in a decorated pandal with marigold garlands. A seated figure in orange robes with a red garland sits on a flower-covered golden throne, and another orange-clad attendant stands beside it. Brass vessels and bowls of flowers and grains lie on a green cloth. This appears to be a homa or yagna ritual.2011-12-20November 08 20182018-11-08June 28 20142014-06-28November 25 20182018-11-25November 11 20182018-11-11December 12 20122012-12-12A priest with a bare upper body, white ash markings on his arm and a rudraksha mala on his wrist holds a lit flame toward a gilded shrine. The golden shrine houses a deity murti draped in red and gold brocade with a jeweled necklace, flanked by smaller gold figures of Ganesha on the left and a goddess on the right. Brass oil lamps and offering vessels sit on a purple cloth in front, along with golden elephant figurines. Red and gold silk hangings with floral embroidery frame the shrine. The scene suggests a puja or aarti at a temple shrine.2021-03-02
