January 04 20172017-01-04 +1 copiesA gilded statue in a golden temple setting, seated before an ornate golden arch with a gilded lotus-shaped crown above it. The figure wears a rust-red turban with pink flowers, a red and gold embroidered robe, rudraksha malas and white and pink flower garlands. The right hand is raised in blessing, and pink petals are scattered at the base. The image shows a statue, not a living person, so no physical people are present.Photo 11737866December 23 20182018-12-23September 20 20182018-09-20July 02 20152015-07-02June 18 20132013-06-18February 27 20142014-02-27Photo 11737905A gilded statue of a standing sannyasi figure with long dark hair and a tall red-orange rudraksha-beaded turban with a red bindi, raising one palm in blessing. He wears layered rudraksha and white bead malas with a gold pendant, a red-orange wrap and dhoti edged in gold, and a beaded bracelet. He stands on a gold pedestal before a green silk backdrop printed with gold flowers, framed by an ornate gilded arch with carved peacocks. Swamiji (probable): the statue's long hair, rudraksha malas, ornate orange clothing and crown-like turban match the page's Swamiji reference, but this is a statue, not a physical person.2013-06-20A golden statue of a seated guru figure in a meditative pose with legs crossed, right hand raised in blessing and left hand resting on the knee. The figure wears a rust-red turban decorated with white shell-like trim and a jewelled brooch, a red-brown robe, a thick layered necklace of rudraksha beads, a gold-and-diamond necklace, a jewelled waist belt and a gold-bordered sash. Large garlands of marigolds, roses and white jasmine frame the statue on both sides against a green draped backdrop, with a green brocade cushion beneath. This is a statue depiction, not a living person.2015-04-25 +1 copiesJune 20 20132013-06-20
