A man's hand with a red and black thread bracelet grips a silver-toned ceremonial vessel with an elephant-head spout, a cream silk cloth with gold border tied at its top. Thin bamboo-like lines or strands extend from the implement. Blurred gold ornamental panels and a dark background suggest a ceremonial setting, with the edge of a figure in the lower right.2018-05-29 +1 copiesDecember 02 20162016-12-02February 19 20162016-02-19Close photo of a ritual abhishekam vessel: a polished silver kalasha-style pot with an elephant-head spout and a decorated square panel with a floral motif, held aloft by two hands. Hands wear gold bangles and a black thread. Yellow marigold garlands and a folded white and gold cloth wrap the top, with thin grass blades (darbha) trailing. Blurred background of colourful bokeh lights and indistinct figures suggests an evening ceremony.2016-12-02Close-up photograph of a silver ceremonial ritual implement held by a hand at right. The silver handle has ornate repoussé patterns and a square open cup at its base, wrapped in a folded white cloth with a yellow-orange and red stain, and a red flower garland drapes over the top. At right, a person in a white dhoti with a gold-striped border is partly visible. The background is blurred with indistinct figures.2018-04-14February 21 20172017-02-21A photograph of a ritual abhishekam in progress. A hand in an orange-clad sleeve holds a polished silver vessel shaped like a spouted pot with an elephant-head spout, its top wrapped in white cloth, while water pours from the spout in a thin stream. Another hand adjusts the cloth. A blurred seated figure in orange and gold beads sits in the lower left, and colourful string lights glow in the dark background.2017-02-21
