A green-skinned figure with a crown and a club kneels with open hands toward three blue-skinned figures: a woman in a yellow sari with blue sash, a figure with a bow and quiver, and another with a bow and quiver, all adorned with white garlands. Before them stands a black lingam on a yoke-shaped base with a small deity murti and flower garland. Sea and trees form the backdrop. The painting is a mounted illustration, not a physical gathering. A Tamil caption sits beneath the panel.2009-07-13A painted mural inside a palace-style hall shows a royal wedding or sacred marriage ritual beside a fire pit. A green-skinned Hanuman with a golden crown and jewelry stands at left, gesturing toward a black Shiva lingam on a stone base. Beside it, a sage-like figure in saffron sits with a rudraksha-style garland. Three figures stand at right: a woman in yellow sari with a white flower garland, and two blue-skinned figures holding bows and quivers, one with a crown and one with a dhoti and bow. Small offerings lie on the sand, and a sea and trees fill the background. The panel carries a Tamil caption below. No physical people are present in the image; the figures are painted.2009-07-13October 11 20182018-10-11
