He wears a gold necklace and a red wrist thread and has a vertical tilak mark on his forehead, and his right hand rests on the silver stand. Behind him is a red ornate throne, red draped curtains, a camera on a tripod, and seated devotees in white. Several blurred people in the background are partly visible.2017-08-09A ceremonial scene in a temple-style hall with a large golden throne at centre. A seated figure with white sacred ash on the forehead, wearing a white flower garland, rudraksha malas and a gold necklace, sits on a red cushioned seat under the throne. Two attendants in saffron/orange robes stand before him: a long-haired figure in orange drapes on the left reaches toward him, and a shaved-headed attendant in orange on the right offers a silver tray of red and pink flowers. Behind them, an orange-clad figure with a red head covering stands near a second golden seat, and a white-clad priest stands at right. Behind the throne, a painted deity figure in orange and gold holds a trident-like staff and a drum-like object, with red garlands hanging. Gilded carved armrests and a gold-trimmed seat frame the composition.2012-04-27Photo 11714880 +2 copies
