Photo 11715445A seated man in a rust-red robe, with long dark dreadlocked hair under a leopard-print orange headwrap, sits on a red cushioned throne before an ornate silver backdrop. He wears layered rudraksha malas, a gold necklace, bead bracelets and armbands, and rests one hand on the head of a kneeling man in white dhoti with bare torso. Two women in saffron-orange garments stand beside them; one holds a white strip of cloth and the other a bead-adorned sash, while white markings decorate the arms of the attendant at left. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation ritual in a temple-like hall with gold and silver details.2017-12-10December 10 20172017-12-10Photograph of a seated man on a red velvet silver-trimmed throne in a gold-decorated hall, wearing a rust-brown dhoti-style garment, a red-brown rudraksha mala with gold ornament pendants marked with Om, and a gold necklace; his long hair is swept back and he smiles with eyes closed while raising a hand.
