January 07 20162016-01-07Night procession on a dirt ground under a yellow and green canopy with strings of coloured lights. Several men and boys in white dhotis and white shirts carry lit oil lamps and flames on long poles. A silver palanquin with ornate canopy stands at right, and a figure in an orange garment is visible in the middle. A tall ceremonial standard with a leaf-shaped finial and a banner rises at left. Some participants are barefoot. Visible people number about 15-20.2016-01-02November 16 20152015-11-16September 15 20162016-09-15Photo 11716058December 30 20182018-12-30 +1 copiesA night procession on a sandy path with a darkened background. In the foreground a man in a brown dhoti and bare chest carries a golden trident-like staff topped with a finial overhead, and a second man in grey clothing walks beside him. Behind them, figures in white dhotis and shawls carry flags with orange and gold fabric, and several people hold red-and-orange umbrellas. A woman in a pink top and patterned pink trousers stands at left, and lit torches or lamps glow in the distance. Several participants are wearing white clothes; the scene reads as a ritual procession.2016-09-05January 02 20162016-01-02May 02 20172017-05-02 +1 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31Photo 11716815 +1 copiesNovember 11 20102010-11-11
