Many wear orange shawls and saffron-coloured clothing, while others wear white. A woman in an orange sari sits on a stone bench at right, facing the crowd, with a microphone stand beside her, appearing to address the gathering. Behind the crowd stands a figure in orange robes near steps. A red and white signboard in Hindi is mounted at upper right. Several people sit in the foreground, including a bald man in orange and a person in an orange cap.2007-07-21A photograph of an outdoor ashram courtyard under a corrugated metal roof strung with brass hoops, with palm trees behind. Many people in white ritual clothing sit on the paved ground in rows, facing a raised area where a standing figure in white robes with a shaved head addresses them. A woman in a yellow top and a light sari stands at left holding a camera, and a fair-haired person in white sits in the front foreground. On the left a white-draped table holds a brass lamp and offerings beside a row of small statues. A red building with a sign for a temple stands at right beside flowering shrubs. The figure at centre is a priest or presenter in white rather than a clearly identified individual, so no identity is claimed.2010-10-05A joyful outdoor crowd gathers in front of a white building with a large orange signboard reading Sri Anandeshwar Temple, with a framed portrait of a woman and a sign in Kannada. In the foreground, a bald man with glasses and a brown-orange sash claps while shouting, and young men in white kurtas with orange sashes dance and sing beside him. A man with long hair in a white shawl stands among them, and a man in a yellow shirt with a lanyard smiles on the right. Palm trees and a sandy ground surround the scene, and a decorated deity murti with garlands sits on a platform in the background.2007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25Photo 11711142October 27 20082008-10-27October 17 20132013-10-17
