Several people in white ritual clothes sit with hands folded in anjali mudra or raised in greeting; a man in the foreground wears a white shirt and dhoti, another in white kurta and dhoti has a red-and-white forehead mark. Terracotta pots of small plants line the steps, and rows of black Shivalinga-style stone forms and additional white-clad devotees are visible on the upper tiers. A flower-garland arrangement decorates the base of the Nandi pedestal. The setting appears to be a Shiva-themed outdoor gathering with a bright sky overhead.2015-02-17 +1 copiesOutdoor temple ritual at a large black stone Nandi bull statue, garlanded with multicoloured flower garlands in red, yellow, purple, white and green. Several bare-chested priests in white dhotis with rudraksha malas and gold necklaces attend the statue on red brick steps, one pouring water over the Nandi. A metal pot and brass vessels sit nearby, with a bright light source above. Behind a metal railing, a crowd of devotees watches, and tall trees and orange flags fill the background. The Nandi statue and priests are the focus of an abhishekam-style ceremony.2017-05-24February 27 20142014-02-27February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesDecember 07 20162016-12-07February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesClose outdoor photo of a large dark stone Nandi bull statue, head raised, with a garland of yellow marigolds draped over its head and a pink and yellow flower garland around its neck, a rope-and-bead collar on its neck. At left, a few seated people in white and bare-chested devotees sit beside a metal barrier, with red flags on tall poles and green leafy trees behind. The sky is white and overcast.2016-12-02January 01 20182018-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20182018-01-01 +1 copiesA black stone Nandi bull statue sits on a raised stone plinth at night, draped with a yellow marigold garland, with small oil lamps placed in front of it.
