November 21 20182018-11-21A gilded metal deity murti of a goddess is adorned for worship at Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple, San Jose. She wears an elaborate crown set with white stones, red and green gems and a red bindi-like stone on the forehead, with a tilak on the brow. Garlands of red flowers and white blossoms drape her shoulders, and she wears layered jewelled necklaces with green and white circular ornaments and a nose ring. A gold hand holding a ritual implement is visible at the left edge. This is a photo of a deity murti, not a living person, and no a person candidate is shown.2020-10-19June 09 20152015-06-09December 01 20092009-12-01 +2 copiesNovember 28 20182018-11-28March 01 20182018-03-01 +1 copiesMarch 10 20152015-03-10March 25 20152015-03-25October 29 20182018-10-29Close-up photograph of a gilded metal deity murti with a golden face, wearing a jewelled crown with pink and green stones, a red-and-gold bindi and a jewelled nose ring.
