Two men with long dreadlocked hair stand on either side of an elderly woman with glasses wearing a magenta sari with a blue border and a purple shawl. The man on the left wears a rust-orange robe and gold bangles and offers her a bunch of fruit or flowers. The man on the right, bare-chested, wears a white dhoti and shawl with gold borders and gold bangles, and holds a wooden tray or box. Golden lion carvings and an ornate gold throne frame the scene, with a brass oil lamp stand at the right edge. Three physical people are visible.2017-03-18Photo 11712483Photo 11712484October 22 20152015-10-22 +1 copiesPhotograph of a darshan moment in a gold-decorated setting. A man seated on an ornate gold throne wears an orange-red turban, orange-red robes with gold trim, a beaded rudraksha-style mala, a large gold pendant and a gold armlet; he extends his right hand to receive a small red fruit held in cupped hands by a bearded man kneeling in front, dressed in white with a red-bordered cloth. Beside the throne a bald man with orange tilak on his forehead and glasses wears an orange robe and mala. A standing man in white with a rudraksha mala and gold chain watches at the upper right. Behind are a gold kalasha-topped lamp stand and brass oil lamps.2015-08-07A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with a gold-bordered cloth, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a red forehead mark, with long dark hair falling down the back. The figure sits on a gold-ornate throne with a leopard-print cushion and smiles while receiving two red apples from a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bows with palms joined. Behind them stands a young attendant in orange with a shaved head and a bead necklace, beside a framed painting of a goddess with multiple arms and a gilded deity murti on a side table. The scene is a formal darshan-style reception in an ashram room.2016-04-29February 21 20162016-02-21 +1 copiesA photograph on a red-lit stage showing a devotee bowing forward to touch their head to a silver tray held by a man in white. The standing man wears a white dhoti with gold borders and a bare torso, with hair tied up and a bead bracelet, bending toward the kneeling woman in a blue sari with green border and a red bindi, who wears a garland of white flowers. On the right, a long-haired man in a rust-orange robe with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace and long dreadlocked hair reaches toward the tray. A gold-framed panel and a floral garland arrangement with red, yellow and green blooms appear behind them. The page references a 40th Avatardinotsava celebration, but no name or a person is legibly printed on the stage, so the identity of the figure in orange is unconfirmed.2016-12-23Photo 11699371 +1 copies
