Photo 11712482Photo 11712483Photo 11731382Photograph of a ceremonial event on a golden-throne dais inside an ornate temple-style hall. A figure with long swept-back hair, a flower crown, a gold-and-red garland and an orange-red gold-bordered garment stands at centre, hands open, facing an elderly man in saffron-orange robes with a shawl and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. A bald man in a red-and-gold dhoti with a white and gold garland holds a tray on the left. A kneeling priest in white with gold-bordered cloth and a red-and-white garland sits at lower right. Gold lion-form armrests of thrones, brass lamps and garlanded pillars frame the scene. The long-haired central figure matches the page's Swamiji reference through hair, adornments and saffron-gold clothing, so this is a probable identification.2016-01-03Three men stand on a golden stage before an ornate gold-and-pink shrine with carved deity figures. On the left, an older man in orange robe and orange turban bows slightly, holding a plastic-wrapped bundle of green coconuts and fruit. In the centre, a man in peach dhoti and green-and-blue shawl with a horizontal yellow tilak on his forehead holds a similar offering. On the right, a bearded man with long dark braided hair, rudraksha and gold necklaces, bangles and a rust-brown robe smiles and gestures toward them. A golden trident stands behind him and a gilded throne sits to the side. Two people in the scene, a photo credit line overlays the lower right.2017-03-18February 27 20132013-02-27 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20162016-01-03Photo 11744536 +2 copiesDecember 21 20162016-12-21 +1 copiesDecember 09 20052005-12-09November 22 20132013-11-22May 09 20152015-05-09 +1 copies
