The man on the left wears saffron-orange robes, a long gold-and-orange garland, and has long swept-back dark hair, smiling as he sits with hands folded and a silver staff across his lap; he has long hair, a crown-like adornment absent, and distinctive long hair and saffron attire, consistent with a person. The man in the centre wears orange robes and a rudraksha mala, seated on a smaller throne. The man on the right wears orange robes, a white forehead band and a rudraksha mala, holding a sheet of paper and reading aloud. Gold-embellished lion figures flank the thrones and a jug stands on the floor; a dark doorway with hanging bells sits behind them.2012-04-27Photo of a ceremonial stage with ornate gold thrones before a turquoise and yellow painted backdrop. Two large painted guardian figures with flaming crowns and raised weapons flank the scene. On the left, a man with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange robe with a gold-beaded necklace sits on a gold throne with lion armrests, smiling and holding a white staff. In the centre, a seated figure in orange robes and a red headcloth holds a mala near a small golden seat. On the right, an elderly bald man with white forehead markings, rudraksha beads and an orange cloth sits on a red-cushioned gold throne reading from a white paper. Red carpets lie on the floor and hanging brass bells decorate the doorway behind.2012-04-27Four people in saffron-orange sannyasi robes sit on ornate gold-carved thrones on a striped multicoloured mat in a hall with a wall-mounted air conditioner and red curtains. The leftmost man speaks into a handheld microphone, with dark hair wrapped in a turban-style bun and a rudraksha mala. The other three wear beaded necklaces and garlands, and the seated figures have white and red tilaka markings. A golden lion figure stands in the foreground, a gold-tipped staff rises on the right, and striped kalasha-style banners hang behind the thrones. The clothing and throne setting suggest a formal satsang. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2017-02-12 +1 copiesApril 27 20122012-04-27February 02 20172017-02-02October 14 20182018-10-14A photograph of a ceremonial stage inside a temple-like hall with painted guardian figures holding tridents and maces on either side. Three seated figures in orange clothing occupy gilded thrones with red cushions. On the left, a smiling man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe, a gold ceremonial necklace and a bindi, and sits with hands folded on a lion-footed throne; he is a person (long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace, orange robe) and is described only by appearance. In the centre, a seated attendant in orange wears a rudraksha mala and a red head covering. On the right, a bald elderly priest in orange wears a long gold necklace and reads from a sheet of paper. Green mango-leaf festoons hang above, and a gold kalasha sits on the floor.2012-04-27
