A photograph of a golden ornate throne on a raised platform, draped with a tiger-print cloth and sheltered by a red canopy with multicoloured fringe. A seated figure in a red garment wears a pink flower garland and a maroon head covering, hands raised in blessing, and a person is shown by his red-and-pink garments, flower garland and head covering. Behind the throne stand tall walls of marigold, yellow, white and purple flower garlands. Red stone steps hold many seated people in white ritual clothes, some with brass vessels, and a shirtless man in a cloth kneels near the lower steps by a flower offering. Several people in white and a few in colourful saris sit among rows of black stone lingams.2016-12-02February 19 20172017-02-19A figure seated on an ornate golden-and-red throne (peetha) in an outdoor garden setting. The throne is framed by a large garland of red, yellow and green marigolds draped over its back, with golden lion sculptures flanking the seat and gold parasols (chhatras) above. Silver and gold trident (trishul) staffs and gold ceremonial discs stand on either side. The seated person wears a red-orange turban, an orange-and-saffron robe, and a pink-and-white flower garland, with a gold bangle on the upper arm. Behind the throne are a brick wall, potted yellow flowers and green trees. The figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person but cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the identity is marked unsure. Visible people: one seated figure and a few partially visible heads at the lower edge.2015-05-05 +1 copiesOctober 19 20152015-10-19 +1 copiesOutdoor ceremonial photo at a tiered red-stone amphitheatre where many people in white and orange clothing sit on steps. In the centre, a man in a red-brown turban and saffron-orange robe, with a long garland of white and pink flowers, gold necklaces, bangles and rudraksha beads, sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions under a canopy of striped red, yellow, blue and white fringed cloth. He raises one hand in greeting. Beside him stands a tall trident-topped staff. To the right, a large pillar wrapped in dense garlands of yellow, purple, green and white flowers. Several devotees in the foreground, some with shaved heads, face the throne. Swamiji (probable): the seated man wears a turban and saffron robe with garlands and a rudraksha mala, cues consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, and is shown in an honoured seated role.2016-12-03July 13 20152015-07-13 +1 copiesA seated man in red-and-maroon clothing sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head armrests, a tiger-skin cloth draped over the platform.
