Two women in white saris sit at left, one bending over a brass vessel and pouring water over a lingam. A tall man in a rust-red wrap and white forehead markings walks barefoot down the central striped runner, flanked by an attendant in orange cloth. Another orange-clad man stands near the pool edge. Brass pots and bowls are set along the steps, and red-and-white tiered steps rise in the background. Appearance-based label: a person is the tall man in the rust-red wrap with long hair and forehead tilak, walking in procession along the abhishekam area.2017-07-24February 27 20142014-02-27Outdoor photo of a stepped stone tank with red-painted steps and grey stone walls, reflected in still water. Dozens of people sit on the steps in white dhotis and saris, many bare-chested men, with brass lamps and small black stone lingams set before them. A blue tarp covers part of the upper steps. In the foreground a figure in a long saffron-orange robe walks barefoot along the water's edge, a rudraksha-style wrap on the shoulder, hair long and swept back; this appearance is consistent with a person, though the figure is small and partly distant. Several people beside him carry drums and small offerings during what appears to be a ritual gathering.2016-12-15Photo 11705316December 17 20162016-12-17Photo 11705321 +1 copiesOutdoor temple ghat scene with rows of black stone Shiva lingams on pedestals along a striped pink, purple and green cloth runner. At left, two women in white saris with gold borders sit beside brass pots and lamps. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a tilak, a rudraksha-style mala and a reddish-brown dhoti walks barefoot along the walkway beside a pool. Behind him, two people in saffron-orange robes walk on a raised platform near metal railings, with stone steps rising in the background.2017-07-24February 17 20172017-02-17Outdoor photo of a stepped stone tank at an ashram, with red-brick and grey stone steps reflected in still water. A standing man in an orange dhoti and orange wrap holds a small oil lamp with both hands near his chest, his long dreadlocks and white tilak marks visible. Three women in white saris sit on the steps behind him with hands pressed together in prayer, with flower petals, a small brass vessel and offerings scattered on the step. Behind them, many people sit on the tiered steps, some in white. Red flags stand along a railing, a green hose runs down the steps, and a large black Nandi bull statue with a garland sits at right. Multiple people are visible in the background.2016-12-16December 15 20162016-12-15
