In the foreground, a person seen from behind, with greying hair and a rust-coloured wrap, holds a silver multi-tiered aarti lamp with several lit oil lamps and extends one hand toward the flames. The background is a warm, blurred golden glow with bokeh, and at the right edge a painted deity image or murti is visible in orange and green tones. The lighting is warm and the scene is an evening lamp offering.2013-05-09August 02 20172017-08-02 +1 copiesDecember 05 20182018-12-05Photo 11717674 +1 copiesJuly 18 20152015-07-18 +1 copiesA bare-backed priest seen from behind holds a silver multi-wick aarti lamp with three lit flames in his right hand during ritual worship. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his left shoulder and a rudraksha mala around his neck, with white sacred ash markings on his back and shoulders. He has short, dark, wavy hair. Before him stand two large painted deity murtis flanking a golden door, both with multiple arms and orange-red lower garments with green sashes. The scene suggests an aarti offering in a temple shrine.2017-08-04A dimly lit temple scene during an aarti: a shaved-headed priest in a dark garment holds a brass multi-flame oil lamp with several bright flames toward the viewer, his face partly hidden behind the lamp. A second figure in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl stands at right, also holding a lamp. Garlands of yellow-green and red flowers hang on a decorated pillar or deity stand at left, with blurred background ornaments.2016-12-07December 02 20162016-12-02
