Rose petals in pink, red and orange fall from a metal vessel held above by a person at upper left, covering the figure's head and shoulders. The seated person wears a rust-brown garment and a white flower garland drapes down the chest. Pink petals pile across the red seat and gold base. Garlands of white jasmine and red flowers hang around the shoulders, with gold ornaments and bangles on the arms. The figure sits before an ornate gold repoussé backdrop with a central emblem, and petals are scattered on the cushions and lap. The figure has closed eyes and a smiling expression, a red tilak on the forehead and a flower crown in the hair. Appears to be a pushpabhishekam flower-showering ceremony.2016-05-24August 07 20172017-08-07August 09 20172017-08-09 +2 copies
