A procession in a crowded street. A man in a brown dhoti and gold-and-rudraksha necklaces, garlanded with red, yellow and pink flower malas, walks beneath a multicoloured fringed canopy on a pole. Behind him, attendants in orange cloth and a man in an orange turban carry a ceremonial fan and a trident, and a figure in a tiger-striped orange garment walks at the right edge. Onlookers and a few people in white crowd the background under bright sunlight.2017-12-31December 31 20172017-12-31December 31 20172017-12-31July 09 20172017-07-09Outdoor procession under a large ornate golden canopy with fringed tassels in red, orange, blue and green, with multicolored umbrellas behind. A smiling man at centre wears a maroon-and-gold turban, a dense garland of red beads and pink-green flowers, a heavy gold ceremonial necklace and a maroon wrap over a rust-red dhoti, and walks barefoot-style in sandals on a blue-edged path. Around him, saffron-robed sadhus with rudraksha malas and matted hair walk, one carrying a tall silver staff; a woman in white with rudraksha beads and a man in white walk nearby, and a golden-handled ceremonial staff is held aloft at right. The presentation is distinctive in ornate ceremonial dress, but no name or caption is visible, so the identity of the central man is uncertain.2018-01-09 +1 copiesA festival procession on a paved path lined with trees, with many colourful umbrellas overhead in pink, yellow and blue. Behind him, several attendants in gold headdresses and white or cream clothing follow, and to the left a man in saffron-orange robes walks beside the procession. Crowds in bright saris and white clothing fill the background.
