A figure seen from behind wears an orange-red turban and orange cloth draped over the shoulder, with long dark hair down the back. Raised in the right hand is a brass aarti lamp with several lit flames, and the left hand holds a brass bell. The figure stands before a striped blue, red and green cloth draped over a low platform. At the left edge, another lamp flame is visible held by a partly cut-off person. Ritual aarti performed on stage.2017-08-12A brass aarti lamp with multiple lit oil wicks on tiered ornate stands is held aloft by a person in an orange saffron cloth head covering, with beaded rudraksha bracelets on the wrists and white ash marks on the forearm. A small brass handbell is held in the other hand. The background is a deep red draped curtain with a golden panel at left. The scene suggests an aarti ritual. Only hands and the lower face area of one person are visible; no distinctive a person cues such as long hair or a crown are shown, so identity is uncertain.2017-08-11 +1 copiesAugust 24 20172017-08-24April 30 20122012-04-30 +2 copiesAugust 12 20172017-08-12August 16 20172017-08-16A photograph from behind of a person in an orange saffron turban holding up a brass multi-branched oil lamp with five lit flames against a deep red curtain backdrop. The person wears rudraksha-style beaded bracelets on the raised wrist, and long dark hair falls below the turban. The lamp appears to be a ritual aarti lamp being raised before the curtain. Only one physical person is visible, seen from the back, with no clear facial features shown.2017-08-15August 25 20172017-08-25April 30 20122012-04-30
