Outdoor construction site beside a grey concrete block wall with rubble and gravel piles. In the foreground, several grey concrete yoni-shaped bases with circular openings sit on bare sandy ground, awaiting installation. Behind them, a group of about seven monks in saffron-orange robes and orange head cloths stand and walk on dirt ground, some carrying staffs. Overgrown grass, palm trees and a metal pole frame the scene.2013-10-19February 05 20152015-02-05April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph of a dusty outdoor construction yard with thatched-roof sheds on either side. A long-haired person in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala, extends an arm and points toward rows of grey carved stone blocks and pieces laid on the ground. Beside them a person in a green and maroon-bordered sari and forehead markings walks, followed by several men in white dhotis and orange shawls and others in white shirts and dhotis. Many carved granite and marble pieces lie scattered: round pedestals, lingam-shaped stones, cylindrical bases and large carved slabs. A few men stand near the left side and in the middle; one wears an orange robe and one a bare-chested red-and-gold wrap. Others wear white shirts and white dhotis. Standing behind them is a group of about thirty men in white shirts and dhotis, some in checked shirts. At the centre a figure in a long saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and long dark hair stands beside a person in a green-and-teal wrap. A man in white with an orange shawl stands nearby. A cameraman at right, in a checked shirt with a shoulder bag, photographs the scene, and another photographer is visible at the left edge.April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph at an outdoor construction site beside a large grey stone structure with carved edges and a red-and-white cable running across it. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and a forehead marking points at the stone while speaking. Beside him a bearded man in an orange robe wears a tall crown-like headpiece with a white forehead marking, a gold pendant and long wooden beads. On the left a man in a white garment with an orange shawl stands at the stone. On the right, several shirtless boys in white dhotis and orange cloths, with rudraksha malas and forehead markings, watch, and one boy raises a small camera. A man in a white shirt stands behind them.
