Red flags with saffron and orange emblems line the left side, and red-and-white railings border the steps. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand on the steps and near the tank edge, while others in white clothes move along the far steps. A black Nandi with a garland sits at the right corner, with brass vessels nearby. A red-brick multi-storey building and trees stand behind under a partly cloudy sky.2016-09-19Photo 11705323September 19 20162016-09-19 +1 copiesSeptember 19 20162016-09-19Wide view of a large terraced stone amphitheatre-style courtyard around a rectangular water tank. In the centre stands a tall black Shiva linga on a raised platform reached by a white metal staircase and walkway over the water. Rows of red-cushioned seating step down toward the tank, lined with red flags. Several people in white and saffron clothing walk along the steps and the far terraces. In the lower left, two saffron-robed figures sit beside a red flag bearing a printed portrait. A few small figures stand on the foreground steps and a person in white stands at the lower right near the water. Rows of smaller stone lingams with round bases line the steps in the foreground. Red and orange flags stand along the railings. A woman in a yellow sari stands at the water's edge near the steps, and a man in orange robes stands at the far left beside a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti. Several people in white clothes stand along the steps and walkways, with red-roofed buildings behind. Visible people appear in the scene, and the ritual seems to involve the lingams and the tank.2016-09-19
