In the centre a man in a plain white shirt and white dhoti holds a small object in both hands, possibly a camphor or offering dish. Around him men and boys stand close together, some bare-chested with sacred ash marks, one in a red shirt, and a boy in a yellow-and-white outfit. A woman in a patterned sari stands at right, and a man with red beads and a sacred thread appears at the right edge. A person in the background holds a camera. No visible presentation of a person candidate is distinct enough to identify, so the figures are described by role and dress only.2006-10-26Night photograph of a crowd gathered on a dark street, with a parked car and headlights in the background. At centre, a figure in an orange saffron robe with a long white flower garland hangs their head and has hands pressed together. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis, one wearing an orange shawl, and a man in a red garment stand close, some with vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads. A tall wooden staff rises at left-centre. Several women in saffron and white saris stand in the background, and a man at lower right wears a gold necklace and a white tilak mark.2009-01-11January 11 20092009-01-11November 09 20112011-11-09Night-time outdoor scene on a dirt road, lit by a street lamp, with a crowd of devotees walking together. At the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe with a long dark rudraksha mala around the neck walks forward smiling, with long dark hair; the appearance cues are a long-haired, orange-robed sannyasi, so Swamiji (probable) leads this procession. Around him, men and women in white shirts, orange and brown robes, and a white-clad figure with a shaved head walk closely; an elderly woman in a purple sari and white shawl stands at left, a woman in a teal top at left, and a young man in a pink shirt at right. Banners with portrait photographs are mounted on boards behind the crowd and at right, and a white wall and trees frame the background. Roughly 40 people are visible.2011-11-09Night photograph of a crowd gathered around a central man in an orange saffron robe, holding a flower bundle of white jasmine and pink blooms. Behind him, a red and yellow fringed canopy on a tall pole is held aloft by a man in an orange-saffron robe on the left. A man in a white shirt with a moustache and a red-shirted man reach toward the central figure, while many devotees in white and colourful shirts press forward under dim lights.2009-01-11July 01 20142014-07-01January 11 20092009-01-11
