July 03 20162016-07-03A photograph of a large seated statue or murti of a bearded sage figure, painted in warm skin tones, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold trim, layered red and orange beaded necklaces, and a crown-like headpiece. The figure sits on an ornate silver-and-gold throne or peetha decorated with mirror-work and colourful jewel-like inlays, raising one hand in blessing. Carved brown guardian figures flank the throne, and a brightly patterned red, blue and green banner hangs on the left. Small brass oil lamps or lamp stands sit at the base in front of the throne. No living people are visible.2016-07-03May 17 20162016-05-17July 03 20162016-07-03July 03 20162016-07-03July 04 20162016-07-04May 17 20162016-05-17August 03 20182018-08-03October 27 20182018-10-27July 04 20162016-07-04October 23 20182018-10-23 +1 copiesJune 17 20132013-06-17
