The trident has three curved prongs with a central spear point and an ornate silver shaft with a collar. In the lower corners, the blurred silhouettes of a few people are partly visible at the frame edge, but no one is in focus. The trident is a Shiva symbol used in Hindu ritual at the Ganga ghat in Haridwar.2014-03-10A photograph of a gold-coloured metal trident (trishul) standing upright on the right, its three prongs and ornate central shaft in sharp focus. Behind it, rocky riverbank boulders and a grey river stretch fade into soft blur, with green wooded hillside and pale buildings in the far background. No people are clearly visible, only a faint partial figure at the far left edge among the rocks.2008-06-28February 27 20142014-02-27Close-up photograph of a silver trident, or trishula, mounted on a long metal shaft against a pale overcast sky with blurred dark green trees below. The three curved prongs have smudges of reddish-brown and orange kumkum or vibhuti residue. A decorative flower-shaped collar and ringed binding sit at the base of the prongs. No people are visible.2010-12-16February 27 20142014-02-27
