No people are visible.2018-05-06Close-up photograph of a polished silver trident (trishul) standing upright against a blurred riverside backdrop of pale sand, dry trees and water. The trident has three curved prongs with a central spear point and an ornate silver shaft with a collar. In the lower corners, the blurred silhouettes of a few people are partly visible at the frame edge, but no one is in focus. The trident is a Shiva symbol used in Hindu ritual at the Ganga ghat in Haridwar.2014-03-10October 01 20122012-10-01A close-up photograph of an ornate silver trishul (trident) with engraved floral and scrollwork patterns on its three tines and a faceted finial at its base, held upright against a softly blurred background of warm red, orange and brown tones. No people are visible; the trident is the sole sharp subject. Light glints off the metal surface, emphasising the intricate chiselled detailing typical of ritual implements used in Shiva worship.2018-04-14April 30 20182018-04-30April 28 20182018-04-28
