He wears a reddish-brown draped cloth, a white horizontal tilak with a red bindi, heavy gold necklaces including a large gold pendant, gold bangles and armlets. A woman in a white garment with brown rudraksha malas and an orange thread holds a silver plate at right. Behind them is a wooden pillared hall. Swamiji (probable): seated on the throne with long hair, saffron-brown garments, gold ornaments and a ceremonial gold necklace, receiving a silver plate offering.2017-09-17A photograph of a seated figure in a rust-red robe and red turban with a crescent and jewelled ornament, wearing a white and pink flower garland and orange-beaded bangles, smiling and pressing his right hand to the forehead of a kneeling man. The kneeling man has a rudraksha mala, a bare upper body with white sacred ash markings, and a white cloth over his shoulder. Behind them a golden ornate backdrop, a leopard-print cushioned seat, a brass bell and a brass oil lamp hang at the upper right, and a brass kalasha-like vessel sits near the seat. In the lower right, hands hold a wooden tray with a red apple.2017-06-25June 30 20162016-06-30 +1 copiesA ceremonial moment in a hall. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a blue and gold border stands at left, holding a silver tray of fruit including oranges, a pomegranate, bananas and grapes. Seated on a gold-and-brown throne at right is a figure with long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace, wearing a maroon-brown shawl and white and red flower garlands. He raises both hands to his head in a gesture of blessing or reception. Behind them a portrait of a seated figure hangs on the wall, and a gold lion-head ornament is at the throne's side. Devotees in white and saffron sit in the background. Appearance-based identification is probable: a person, seated, receiving the tray in a ritual offering.2016-06-30A seated man in a rust-orange cloth wrap sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, eyes closed, touching his forehead where white vibhuti is applied. He wears heavy gold necklaces, a gold pendant, red and gold beaded bracelets, a gold ring and earrings, with long dark hair. A shirtless attendant in white dhoti bends forward holding a silver plate with liquid. Behind them, women in green and yellow saris stand, one holding a phone to take photos. The scene resembles a ritual or anointing setting with a stone pillar in the background.2017-03-16 +1 copiesPhoto 11714880 +2 copiesFebruary 15 20172017-02-15December 07 20162016-12-07
