March 08 20132013-03-08Close-up photograph of the lower part of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne. The figure wears a red and green cloth draped over the legs, with the feet resting on a dark wooden footrest or platform. Behind is a richly embossed gold-toned panel with floral and scroll patterns, lit by red and green stage lights. A green and dark leaf-patterned cloth covers the platform in front, and a small red cushion sits beside it. A tall silver rod stands at the left edge. No other physical people are visible.2013-03-04December 23 20162016-12-23March 04 20132013-03-04Close photo of bare feet resting on a pair of ornate bronze padukas, the sandal-shaped footwear of a guru, placed on a draped brown-orange velvet cloth. Each paduka has a small finial and a carved, spiked base, and a lime-green fruit sits beside each foot. The person's legs are visible from the knees down wearing a brown garment with gold border trim, and a maroon drape hangs in the background. This suggests a padapuja, the ritual washing and worship of a guru's feet, though no full ceremony is visible. No faces are shown, and the scene is dimly lit.2016-12-23Close photo of a person's bare feet resting on two dark bronze padukas, each topped with a round yellow fruit, placed on a draped orange-brown cloth on a table. The wearer's saffron-brown garment with gold border is visible above. The setting is a dim hall with a red backdrop.2016-12-23Close-up photo of a ritual setting on a gold-ornamented wooden stand with carved legs and a red-and-gold cloth. A thin white cord hangs from above beside a silver pole, and a patterned floral cushion lies behind. No face is visible. The scene is lit with warm pink and red light.2013-05-01December 23 20162016-12-23Close photograph of a person's bare foot resting on an ornate gilded throne or seat with embossed red-and-gold panels, a metal rod or stand beside it.
