A flower garland in red and yellow hangs around the lingam's upper shaft. On the metal scaffolding stairs at the upper left, several people in saffron-orange robes stand and sit, and a figure in orange at the top right appears to be seated on the scaffold. Below, two people in orange robes stand near a golden arched frame beside brass vessels. An empty gold and red-cushioned throne sits at the right base of the lingam. The scene suggests an abhishekam ceremony at the lingam.2017-09-11November 22 20162016-11-22July 24 20172017-07-24September 11 20172017-09-11June 10 20132013-06-10November 04 20132013-11-04September 11 20172017-09-11A large black Ananda Lingam, a tall egg-shaped stone lingam, is being bathed at an outdoor ritual site. A garland of marigolds and red flowers drapes down its side, with petals scattered at its base. On a raised metal platform reached by steel stairs, several figures in saffron-orange robes sit and stand near the top of the lingam, including a bare-chested man with long hair holding a vessel and a woman in orange with long dark hair. Behind them is a red-brick amphitheatre with rows of seats and a plain wall. White ducks are visible on the steps. This is an abhishekam ritual performed on the lingam.2017-09-11September 11 20172017-09-11
