A flower garland in red and yellow hangs around the lingam's upper shaft. On the metal scaffolding stairs at the upper left, several people in saffron-orange robes stand and sit, and a figure in orange at the top right appears to be seated on the scaffold. Below, two people in orange robes stand near a golden arched frame beside brass vessels. An empty gold and red-cushioned throne sits at the right base of the lingam. The scene suggests an abhishekam ceremony at the lingam.2017-09-11A large black stone Shiva lingam with white tripundra markings stands on a black yoni-pitha base at an outdoor ritual site. A green, orange, and white flower garland drapes over the lingam. A metal staircase leads to a raised platform where several bare-chested men in orange or saffron cloths stand near the top, attending the lingam. Gold ceremonial arches and a gold trident decorate the base, and red flags line the background wall beside rows of red seating. Several people in orange clothing stand at the bottom of the stairs.2017-07-24June 10 20132013-06-10
