A row of seated sannyasis on a stone-floored veranda. On the left, a man with grey hair and a beard wears an orange shawl over an orange robe and a dark cord necklace. Beside him an elderly bearded man in peach-coloured robes and a long orange shawl with a blue-striped sash sits with hands clasped. Next, a young boy in peach and orange cloth sits with a red tilak. Blurred figures in white and orange stand in the background.

A photograph of sadhus seated on a floor during a feast at a camp, many wearing saffron and orange robes and orange turbans. In the foreground four men sit together: a bald man in orange on the left, a younger man with glasses and a gold necklace and rudraksha mala in a maroon and gold robe, a bearded elder in an orange turban wearing a rudraksha mala and a visible ID badge, and an elderly bald man in glasses in orange cloth. Steel plates and glasses sit in front of them, and low wooden tables with more seated orange-clad people are behind. The floor is covered in green matting.

A photograph of two sadhus seated on a stage in orange robes, with orange marigold garlands in the foreground and an ornate gold and red backdrop behind them. The man on the left wears an orange turban, a yellow and red tilak on his forehead, a multi-strand pearl and rudraksha mala, and a blue and red armband; he looks forward with a serious expression. The bearded man on the right has long matted dreadlocks, a grey beard, and wears an orange shawl, with his eyes lowered. Behind them a red cushioned seat and gold-decorated throne-like furnishings suggest a ceremonial setting.

A photograph of a seated audience of sannyasis at a satsang. In the foreground, four elderly men with long white beards wear orange and saffron robes and saffron-yellow turbans, sitting upright and facing forward. The man second from right holds a small white object in his hands. Behind them, more orange-robed and turban-wearing devotees with white beards sit in rows, with a warm wall behind them. No candidate for a person is clearly distinguishable among those visible; they are described by role as devotees and sannyasis.

A large crowd of sadhus and devotees in orange and saffron robes sits closely on the ground under a tent or pavilion with white pillars. In the foreground a white-bearded man with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, eyes lowered, wearing orange robes and a pink undercloth. Beside him a long-haired sadhu with a red headband, bare chest, red shawl, bangles and vibhuti marks on his forehead leans forward to tend a plate of food. To the right a sadhu in a pale headcloth and orange robe eats from a leaf plate, with small steel cups and bowls of food on the floor.
