A figure in orange saffron robes stands barefoot on a small red mat beside a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots, leaning his head and one hand against the trunk. He wears a long-haired style with a rudraksha-type bead necklace, a gold-toned ceremonial necklace, and an armlet. A purple flower garland hangs on the tree trunk. The outdoor setting has red soil, concrete platforms, brick seats and white pillars. A blue sign at the bottom left is partly visible. The figure appears to be a person in a devotional pose at a sacred tree.2012-04-27 +1 copiesApril 08 20122012-04-08November 04 20112011-11-04A man stands barefoot on a raised white platform beside a large banyan tree with many aerial roots, pressing his forehead against the trunk in reverence. He wears a white dhoti and a white upper cloth with a gold border, a bracelet on one wrist, and his hair is tied back. Garlands of marigolds and red flowers hang on the trunk. A blue sign reads NOT ENTER THE CAVE beside the platform. A small offering of flowers and lamps sits on a white ledge behind him, with red-brown earth and green trees around. Appearance-based cues are insufficient for a confident identification of the central figure, so he is described by role as a devotee at the tree.2012-04-09January 23 20132013-01-23April 26 20122012-04-26April 15 20122012-04-15April 25 20122012-04-25A man stands barefoot on a small red and blue patterned mat at the base of a large banyan tree, his forehead and body pressed gently against the trunk with eyes closed in a devotional, meditative posture. He wears a cream-colored dhoti and a golden-brown striped shawl draped over one shoulder, with gold armlets and bangles. A garland of white and red flowers hangs on the tree trunk to the left. The concrete-rimmed base has a small white kolam-like marking on the ground. Red brick walls, sandy ground and trees fill the background.2012-04-18 +1 copiesNovember 24 20112011-11-24 +1 copiesApril 09 20122012-04-09A barefoot man in white ritual clothing with a yellow shawl stands at left with palms pressed together in namaskar before a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots.
