In the foreground, a man in long flowing saffron-orange robes, an orange turban, a long swept-back hair and an ornate gold beaded necklace with a large pendant stands holding a tall wooden staff with a gold top, smiling while looking to the side. Swamiji (probable) is shown with orange robes, turban, long hair and gold necklace, in the role of a ceremonial leader at the procession. Beside him, a man in white ritual clothing with a dark rudraksha mala holds an orange cloth bundle. A woman in a white shawl stands to the left, and a woman in white sari sits at lower left. Behind them, many schoolchildren in uniforms with dark blue, white and green colours press close, and an orange and gold decorated canopy or palanquin fabric hangs at upper right.2005-12-31January 12 20152015-01-12December 15 20122012-12-15Indoor event photo of a man with swept-back dark hair, a red tilak and a bare upper body wrapped in a rust-orange cloth, wearing heavy gold necklaces, gold armbands and a gold bangle. He reaches out and touches the hands of a line of shaved-headed young boys in orange robes, some with white and orange forehead markings, beaded necklaces and small earrings. Behind them stand men in white and grey shirts, and a backdrop with colourful decorative panels and a projection screen is visible.2013-06-27A group photograph on a stage in front of a red and silver backdrop. A seated figure in the centre wears an orange-saffron robe and a white flower garland, and raises one hand in blessing on an ornate gold-and-brown throne decorated with white flowers. Around him stand and kneel about a dozen devotees in white ritual clothes and rudraksha malas, some with name badges; the women wear white saris with gold borders. A silver vessel, a fruit bowl and a small offering sit on a patterned red rug in front. The seated figure's appearance, orange robe and rudraksha cues are consistent with the page's identification, so this is a person seated on the throne.2006-12-27February 25 20072007-02-25Photo 11702300
