Behind the table sits a framed portrait of a smiling figure in a pink-and-red robe with a flowered white-and-pink headdress and a garland of white flowers and beads, seated as if on a throne. Beside it hangs a framed gold-bordered devotional picture of a deity seated on a lotus-like seat, and small oil lamps, flowers and a plate of offerings sit on the table. Three or four devotees in the foreground, one in white and others in shadow, watch from the sides, and one holds a phone to his ear.A photograph of women performing an aarti before a framed portrait of a smiling man with a red turban, rudraksha-style beaded mala and white floral garlands, set against a plain white wall. Behind a purple-draped table with marigold garlands, several women in orange, pink, blue and yellow saris stand with hands folded or hold a lit lamp toward the portrait. Steel pots of food, bowls of curry and a plate of sweets sit on the table, and a metal bucket and cups are at the edges.2022-06-19January 15 20162016-01-15
