A photograph of a shirtless man seated outdoors on red stone steps in prayer, palms pressed together at chest level. He has a white vertical tilak with a red bindi on his forehead, long matted hair, and wears multiple strands of rudraksha malas, a rudraksha bracelet, a small red-and-gold pendant, and a white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth. Behind him, other figures in white dhotis sit on the steps, and a dark stone shivalinga sits in the foreground beside brass pots, pink flower petals and a smoking incense stick. The setting suggests an outdoor puja or aarti, and this man presents as a person by his rudraksha malas, ornate adornments and ritual setting.

A photograph of a man seated on red-painted temple steps beside black stone lingam-style pillars. He wears a white dhoti with a gold border, bare-chested, with white sacred ash marks on his forehead, chest and shoulders, and multicoloured beaded malas around his neck. He has a hair knot and a small silver earring, and sits with hands in his lap in a quiet ritual posture. In front of him is a small tray with a lit oil lamp, a brass bowl, red flowers and fruit, and a small deity figure. Brass vessels are visible on the steps behind him. A small plaque on the step reads a dedication to donors from Guadeloupe.

Photograph of a row of shirtless male priests seated on red-painted steps among many dark cylindrical stone lingams, a ritual setting in a temple courtyard. The foreground priest in the right of frame wears a rudraksha mala, a white forehead mark and white body markings, and holds his palms together in a gesture of prayer. Others in the row wear white dhoti cloths and orange-saffron cloths over one shoulder, with rudraksha malas, white tripundra marks and white ash on their bodies, some with hands raised or folded in worship. A brass lota and small brass vessels sit near the front. The priests are seated, not facing the camera directly, and no one in the scene is clearly identifiable as a specific presiding figure.
