November 23 20162016-11-23November 23 20162016-11-23A bearded man with long swept-back dark hair stands outdoors in sunlight, eyes lowered, holding a silver kalasha-style pot in both hands. He wears a rust-brown dhoti-style garment, a thick garland of red, white, yellow and purple flowers over his shoulders, and multiple rudraksha malas across his chest and waist, with a gold chain at the neck and a white forehead marking with a red-black tilak. Behind him, men in saffron-orange dhotis, some shirtless with rudraksha malas, and a man with dreadlocks walk in a procession beneath a golden ceremonial umbrella with red tassels, near a red building. The pot and garlands suggest a puja or bhumi-puja ceremony.2016-11-23April 14 20132013-04-14April 14 20132013-04-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a devotee in rust-red dhoti and wrap bowing forward to place white and yellow flowers with a red flower on a framed printed image set on a dark granite stand on muddy ground. He wears a heavy gold pendant necklace and a leopard-print cloth over his shoulder. Behind him, other people in matching red-orange robes with gold borders stand near concrete steps and a metal railing, with a small kalasha-like pot visible at the top edge.2014-06-06November 23 20162016-11-23July 03 20122012-07-03April 24 20132013-04-24November 23 20162016-11-23Outdoor bhumi puja at a construction site. A bearded man in a rust-brown robe with a multicoloured flower garland pours water from a kalasha-like pot over a dug pit lined with bricks and scattered petals. Nearby, men in white dhotis with gold borders, a shirtless figure with a rudraksha mala, and young men in orange garments stand around. A man in a white shirt films with a camera on the right, and a drummer in orange holds a drum. A red-and-yellow fringed parasol is at the left edge.2016-11-23October 03 20162016-10-03 +1 copies
