Night-time outdoor scene at a red-walled ashram courtyard. Two figures face a large black statue of a deity with a crown, rudraksha-style ornament, and a trident leaning beside it. The statue wears an orange cloth and a garland, and a dark circular backdrop frames it. In the centre, a person in an orange sari and blouse holds a lit flame aloft in one hand, while the other hand rests near a tray. On the left, a figure with long dark hair and a red beaded garland, wearing a rust-coloured wrap, stands with hands folded in front of the body. A small rug lies on the ground and a lit window glows behind them.2016-02-17February 21 20162016-02-21December 31 20152015-12-31February 17 20162016-02-17February 17 20162016-02-17November 21 20152015-11-21 +1 copiesSeptember 05 20162016-09-05November 12 20162016-11-12 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copiesDecember 31 20152015-12-31 +1 copiesA night-time photograph outside a building with orange walls. A man with long dark hair, white tilak on his forehead, red and yellow marigold garlands around his neck and a leopard-print wrap over an orange-brown cloth, holds a lit camphor aarti plate toward a large black stone deity murti with a trident, a crown-like headdress, a white and red garment and beaded necklaces. Red and yellow flower garlands drape the statue and red petals lie on its base, with an oil lamp on the ground nearby. Dark wooden sticks and a burning flame frame the foreground. This is an aarti offering before a deity statue.2013-03-02 +1 copiesNight outdoor puja at a small red-walled shrine in a garden courtyard. A man in white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body, wearing a rudraksha-style necklace, holds a lit oil lamp or aarti flame toward a deity murti decorated with red, yellow and pink garlands and gold jewellery under a brass umbrella. A second figure with long matted dark hair and a rust-red shawl stands on a striped mat, watching the aarti. The shrine is framed by potted plants and palm fronds, with a red wall behind bearing partly visible printed text. Sandals rest on the mat.
