A temple ritual offering under an open pavilion with pink curtains. A woman in an orange sari holds a brass tray toward a man in orange robes and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces who stands at the altar. Several men in orange robes stand with hands folded to the left, one holding a tall golden staff, and a woman in a white sari with yellow shawl watches nearby. Trays of fruit, sweets and bananas are arranged on the floor mat, with brass lamps and a kalasha-like vessel in front. Behind them stands a decorated deity murti garlanded with marigolds in a golden shrine. A red-striped mat and orange cushion sit at the left edge. Seated devotees are visible in the background.2008-12-26December 20 20112011-12-20December 18 20132013-12-18February 23 20162016-02-23 +1 copiesA group of people sits on a stone-paved courtyard in front of a pink temple wall with a gopuram visible behind palm trees, with a crowd standing further back. Seated at right, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha-style bead mala and an ornate gold necklace, and a gold armband; a person candidate sits in the centre-right of the group. Nearby, other saffron-robed attendees sit with beaded malas. At left, a priest in orange sits on a raised platform before a garland of flowers, and in the centre a man in white dhoti and shawl with a gold chain holds an open book. Maroon-clad students sit with books in rows. Trays before them hold fruit, sweets, ladoos, a brass plate with oil lamps and flowers, and a cloth of orange and yellow, indicating a puja offering.2011-12-20August 14 20172017-08-14A photograph of an annadan-style meal service in a covered courtyard with wooden pillars and a red wall behind. Many young devotees in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas sit on the floor. On the left a woman in a brown-orange sari serves from a small steel bowl, and at the center a smiling girl in an orange dress and gold necklaces receives food. A bare-chested man on the right serves from a steel tray, and a woman in a red and gold sari stands in the background. No figure can be confidently identified as a person, so no candidate is marked.2017-02-17December 26 20082008-12-26April 24 20132013-04-24August 17 20142014-08-17 +1 copiesDecember 26 20082008-12-26December 28 20152015-12-28
