Close view of a homa fire pit lined with reddish-brown bricks, flames rising from the centre. A seated figure in a red and maroon cloth and wearing beaded necklaces and rudraksha-style malas pours liquid from a long-handled ladle into a silver bowl near the fire. A coconut and a small brass vessel sit on the brick platform, and blurred people in white clothes sit in the background. Offerings and a homa ritual are visible.2015-10-19Photo 11716610 +1 copiesPhoto 11701232 +2 copiesJuly 09 20152015-07-09 +3 copiesPhoto 11701817 +1 copiesJanuary 13 20182018-01-13Photo 11701973 +2 copiesJuly 09 20152015-07-09 +2 copiesJuly 18 20152015-07-18 +1 copiesA homa fire burns inside a square fire pit built from stacked brown bricks, each top brick dusted with white ash-like powder and dotted with red kumkum. A silver bowl with a ladle sits on the brick rim at left, and a red-robed figure with wrists and a bracelet visible sits behind the fire, tending the flames. Scattered petals and a small potted plant appear at the right edge, and brass vessels rest at the left.2014-03-18January 06 20192019-01-06January 02 20162016-01-02 +1 copies
